THE MOODY BLUES
“Music from Out of This World”

“…But we decide which is right
and which is an Illusion,”

This is a “remix” of music by the Moody Blues which can be found at the link, above. Visit Redbaron863’s YouTube channel for more great videos. The original take was “Have You Heard.” I especially enjoyed his Tuesday Afternoon-The Moody Blues-(Long Extended Version) — 8:30.

The daily Bible verse for November 28, 2016 at The Official King James Bible Online is Psalms 33:4 — “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Yes, we cover politics here on The Daily Walk with Miracles, or we certainly used to. I’ve about had it with politics and politicians, at least for a while, let’s get high on music and watch some great videos, right?

Get high on the possibilities of this music, with the real possibilities of the sound, and maybe you’ll begin to understand….. Quite a lot of music just as good as this is why The Moody Blues have such a loyal following, even today. Once in a while, a band does some things that are NOT just easy listening, but universal — truly the heart of progressive rock — and this recording could be said to transcend even the whole genre of progressive rock. (Buy better speakers, guys. Look, we’ll make it easy, here’s a whole range of Best Buy’s own Insignia speakers under $100. Even the basic $40 ones come with a subwoofer and sound great!) We’ll be listening to this recording more than once.

See Wikipedia on The Moody Blues:

‘The Moody Blues are an English rock band. They first came to prominence playing rhythm and blues music, but their second album, Days of Future Passed, which was released in 1967, was a fusion of rock with classical music and established them as pioneers in the development of progressive rock. They became known internationally with singles including “Go Now”, “Nights in White Satin”, “Tuesday Afternoon” and “Question”. They have been awarded 18 platinum and gold discs. Their album sales total 70 million.

‘As of 2015 they remain active with one member from the original 1964 band (drummer Graeme Edge) and two more from the 1966 lineup (bassist John Lodge and lead singer and guitarist Justin Hayward).’
