Dedicated to all the people who ever showed me a kindness, I thank God for you. Please message me, Paul at email@example.com. My whole nuclear family have all passsed on, even my sister, I don’t really have anyone to keep me company, and I haven’t had a date in 4 years…. Look, it’s a chat, not marriage, and I would be very grateful for your kindness.
Wikipedia has a summary of information about Walk the Moon:
Walk the Moon (often stylized as WALK THE MOON) is an American indie rock band based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lead singer Nicholas Petricca started the band in 2008 while a student at Kenyon College and went through several member changes before finally coming together with current members Kevin Ray, Sean Waugaman, and Eli Maiman in 2010. The band’s name is derived from the song “Walking on the Moon” by The Police….
Walk the Moon is a “new” and rising band that The Daily Walk with Love gives high marks to, especially if you like “new wave” sorts of sounds. The music is energetic and also is great music to “do stuff” with, music in the background. I keep coming back to this band and listening on YouTube. Visit the bands’ official website where there are links to get music downloads of their newest album (from 2014), “Talking is Hard.” I personally love good energetic new wave sounds, and Walk with Moon has a great “indie” flavor. In a sense an indie feel is inherent in the new wave concept, but the critics call the music “indie rock” and not “new wave.” The drumming is insistent and not so traditional and this music is (as we said back in the 70’s) really cool.
“Talking is Hard” does have a more straightforwardly 80’s sound than do some of Walking the Moon’s early albums, one critic noted. But it’s a great sound. This is music I love to listen to while I work. Not only that, it’s good enough so that it’s great to give my undivided attention to also. To me, the best track on the new album is the first song, “Avalanche,” for which we named our article and YouTube mix. See what you think!
Buy the recent album, “Talking is Hard” at Amazon.com where a digital download of the album is only $7.99. You can also get it at iTunes. Here’s a really good video collection as a playlist from YouTube. I also like the second song, “Work this Body” a lot, and when I listen to the album, it’s good enough that I almost always listen to all of it.
