— Let’s Say, apparently we have been “left behind,” and those found to be worthy (however many) are gone, and yet, this may still provide opportunity for real democracy in America. We must not allow a tyranny, such as the rich who now “run things” in DC, continue to have a hold on the future for the common man. God Loves the poor and hates injustice, it’s shot through the Bible. And if the right and the left will only find common cause on the major issues they agree on, a veto-proof majority exists right now in the Senate. Rand Paul got a 78 to 18 veto-proof vote to end the perceived-to-be-illegal aspects of the NSA surveillance (Ultimately Mitch McConell intoduced compromise legislation, but for five days, wrong-minded NSA spying was against the law. The point is not NSA, but the fact that a veto-proof majority exists right now in the Senate, cooperatively, the right and the left standing together, on issues which concern the common man. More of all this and more follows, below.)

Well I have already “let the cat out of the bag,” above. There are several issues on which the right and the left in congress can cooperate, and the fate of the common man is surely at the top of the list. There are quite a few issues which fall under that general heading, right?

Perhaps a major heading we can cooperate on is a full revision of the tax code. right now in America, the very rich and big corporations pay very little in revenue to the Federal Government. Thus we see General Electric, the world’s largest producer of electrical and electronic appliances and components, with an army of the very best accountants, has paid absolutely zero in taxes over the last two years. It wouldn’t matter if you had the best, slightly progressive fair-and flat tax, when the tax code (written of, by and for the rich), allows this. America’s tax code MUST be rewritten from the bottom up.

Another major area of concern is lobbying in America, and how this is destroying important legislation. Despite promises of transparency by Obama, his healhcare plan was negotiated entirely behind closed doors, with a healthcare or pharmaceutical lobbyist in every other seat. How could ANY important legislation be decently crafted in this way. And yet, seemingly, you cannot limit lobbying because this is, effectively limiting a corporations rights to free speech (as since English Common Law times, corporations must be legally considered as humans, with their rights to free speech). Well then, you cannot limit lobbying, but what you can do very effectively do is to to have all Federal Elections be federally funded.

Concerned about Goldman Sachs and the investment banks economic strangle-hold over America? You should be. There is a new kind of “program trading,” in which many thousands of trades, made over milliseconds, insure an economic gain even when the DOW is down two hundred points. What if we levy a tiny little per-stock-transaction tax on ALL stock trading. The ordinary investor would not be touched by this at all, but it would stop program-trading in its tracks.

These are a few of the plans and ideas I have to point America back on a right course, and to stop us from making a slide similar to 1929, which is the situation we now face. No matter what, however bad it gets, I do strongly hope America stands with Donald Trump. I feel he is the right leader for America in these uncertain times. Pray for President Trump.

there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.

The Daily Bible verse for this article at the Official King James Bible online Psalms 29: 2 — “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” Another verse which has sustained me lately is Proverbs 3: 3, to paraphrase, “Mercy and Truth: Bind them around your heart.
