Here are some Real Proofs
that God is Real (and that
He Loves you)
Proofs that God is Real
from both analysis by philosophical idealism
and also more concrete, material proofs, too.

A word from the owner, Paul Evans: Here at The Daily Walk with Miracles, we are having some success reaching a wider audience, but I am in deep financial difficulty. If you are interested in a financial arrangement by which I get some funding for the site and you get part ownership, or if you would just like to make a badly needed contribution to my efforts, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you and God Bless you.
Recently we “celebrated” the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Please take a moment and listen as President Obama Reads Psalm 46 at (an older) 9/11 Ceremony. While I am at this time in my life a conservative and a supporter of Donald Trump, I DO remember a time when BIPARTISANSHIP was not a dirty word. May God Bless America!
A lot has happened to me in the last few years where I have (also) experienced or become aware of a few more concrete, material reasons to believe in God, but let’s look at the idealistic and philosophical ideas involved, too:
There is one primary question which needs to be asked before trying to understand or accept any teachings you come across from anywhere. The logical argument which one needs to ask is, “if a logical argument is fully and actually logically valid, including its premises (as fully correct and true), then doesn’t that mean that this argument and conclusions reached by it do have validity and real reality in the universe?” Pontius Pilate dismissed Jesus to His death with the words “what is truth?” My starting point, several years ago (lets say about 2007), is that reality is real and truth exists about any question we ask, which is rather the opposite of Pontius Pilate, isn’t it?
But you have to decide one way or another. Is it all “just an illusion” or will you have faith (strong belief) in those “facts” which words and logic lead you toward? There is a question of “perception” here too, either of our minds or our senses, it is often a question of perception of a “real-to-you” reality, versus illusion. To perceive God’s reality, partly, you must really know His grace. A few years ago I made the decision to believe that some worthwhile truth exists about all important things in your life, that all true reality is very much real, beyond just perception, and if we are diligent in living our lives, we will come to know “the truth” about many things. That was the premise for the study of comparative religion I have made in recent years. It seems to me that either that decision becomes the ONLY real, important “filter’ (if you will) that ultimately underlies your beliefs, or what difference does ANYthing matter in your life? I am 60 years old. I don’t have all that much time left to “get it right,” but YES it matters to me. Insofar as reality affects me, I’ve decided: Reality is real and truth exists about everything, it’s just hard to figure out sometimes, but reality and truth are for me very real nonetheless.
Point in question: is Love “real” and in what sense of the word “real”? Well, Love is certainly a force for good in the world, right? And a force IS a THING, however non-material, it exists, it is really existent as a “force,” which IS more than just a “concept” or “idea.” Love accomplishes things in a factual reality. Therefore Love is REAL and has a real reality. This real Love has many names, but Christians know Him as God, YWH. This sort of argument forms the basis for philosophical idealism. It is why straight philosophical materialism is not enough to explain everything. At least for me, Love is.
A lot has happened to me in the last few years which has brought me to the point where I have also experienced or become aware of a few more concrete, material reasons why believing in God makes a lot of sense to me and are the strongest truths which motivate me and give me strength to persevere and have faith, even as I stay up through some nights. Here are a few thoughts from my Facebook page:
90 percent of astronomers believe in God. Moreover, the chances that any universe would have the exact set of physical laws which govern and allow life to exist AT ALL are, the astrophysicists say, about one in 10 followed by 28 zeros, one in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. Those are pretty slim odds. It seems to me that someone (God) made it all the way it is, doesn’t that seem more reasonable? If those are the odds, I’m betting on creation. Yes, changes occur to the genetics of creatures by natural selection. Genetics and mathematics and biology are not so mistaken. But there is a purposiveness to evolution which scientists miss (some of them). Overall, evolution proceeds in a manner which was somewhat well described by the late 19th century theory I have read about called Teleology (or this purposiveness in evolution), the mighty hand of God. You might want to view or purchase Purposive Evolution: the Link Between Science and Religion (at Amazon.com, a used book from $6.78), by Edmund Noble. Also see The evolution and function of living purposive matter, by Charles Nottidge Macnamara (1910, free, in several formats). I’ve had three college level courses in paleontology, and and am familiar with the various scientific arguments. Neither am I terribly impressed with various (lame) scientific explanations of just how the eye of a squid is essentially identical in physiology to that of a human. I think that only something like teleology can explain the broad sweep of evolution, with it’s increasing complexity and extinctions.
I have three more things to think about for those who live in darkness, or who lack any kind of faith: 1.) why is the sky blue (Gott im Himmelblau): scientists say it’s because of the ammonia which gives it the blue color, BUT an honest scientist will admit that ammonia is unstable in the presence of oxygen and so shouldn’t very much be in the atmosphere at all. 2.) How did it come to be that the ocean is a 70 percent saline solution and 3.) I actually died about 6-7-8 months ago: I was in a hospital, I went to sleep at the normal time and then just stopped breathing, they found me like that (dead) in a bed check, tried unsuccessfully to revive me… I was just gone, they tried pounding on my chest but that didn’t work, I woke up quite a while latter on a flat metal ER slab on a different floor of the hospital: so where was I and why didn’t my brain turn to mush during that time? 10 minutes without oxygen is supposed to finish a man but I WAS someplace. I believe in God, do you? May you find personal peace of mind: God can forgive anything and He Loves You.
