Free Music57, December 30, 2014, selections by Paul Evans, videos courtesy of YouTube. Paul Simon was best known for his work in the famous folk duo Simon and Garfunkel. Do you remember Paul Simon from his solo career? Here are a couple of well-known songs as well as a few lesser-known songs that I like. Please also consider the new article on our sister site, The Daily Walk with Miracles, Windows 10 — The future of Microsoft Windows, published December 29, 2014.

Read the Wikipedia article on Paul Simon:

“Paul Frederic Simon (born October 13, 1941) is an American musician, actor and singer-songwriter. Simon’s fame, influence, and commercial success began as part of the duo Simon & Garfunkel, formed in 1964 with musical partner Art Garfunkel. Simon wrote nearly all of the pair’s songs, including three that reached No. 1 on the U.S. singles charts: “The Sound of Silence”, “Mrs. Robinson”, and “Bridge Over Troubled Water”. The duo split up in 1970 at the height of their popularity, and Simon began a successful solo career as a guitarist and singer-songwriter, recording three highly acclaimed albums over the next five years….” (His best known album was “Graceland.”)
