Pink Floyd: London Live 8 — The Last Concert

My own thought is that Alan Parson’s Project and even The Moody Blues rival Pink Floyd
in their contribution to progressive rock, but that nobody rivals Pink Floyd in their anti-establishment lyrics (message) or in the psychedelic nature of both their music and their video presentations. According to HDPinkFloyd, the London Live 8 concert had “Roger Waters rejoining David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. It was the quartet’s first performance together in over 24 years — the band’s last show with Waters was at Earls Court in London on
17 June 1981.” Plus, we have links for you to explore! Pink Floyd was unique. They were “in the establishment’s face,” but even those guys liked Floyd. Read More …

Secrets of Life on this Oasis in Space that is Mother Earth

The Bible states summarily that “God is Life,” following this statement with “in Him is no darkness at all.” Could it not be that, as in so much in the New Testament, that the second phrase in this sentence is meant metaphorically? Is it not perfectly clear when the Bible uses the word “IS” that it means “God IS Life,” and that Life is sacred and must be recognized as such and treated with reverence? Here we make a few explorations into my own ideas about that Life philosophically and in terms of religious thought. Read More …

Understanding the Power of the Law of Attraction

One of the golden rules of the Law of Attraction is to focus on what you want, not consider much at all what you don’t want, a sort of positivism. The Two Wolves Inside Each of Us

The Two Wolves Inside Each of us is not original to The Daily Walk, although the wording is my own.
