What do these videos mean to you? This article is for my first fiance Nancy, because Dylan always makes me think of you, even though you did me wrong, and for the sweet, sexy woman who will come into my life, see past my limitations, and be sexy, sincere and loyal to me: I will give everything to you! You would find me kind, gentle, totally loyal and very sexy and giving for you. Email

Bob Dylan has another award to add to his long list of achievements.

The singer was named the winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in literature Thursday in a stunning announcement that for the first time bestowed the prestigious award to someone primarily seen as a musician.

The Swedish Academy cited the American musician for “having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition.”

Also see ‘Poetry for the ear’: Bob Dylan wins Nobel Prize in literature, The Washington Post, October 13, 2016, by Ron Charles, Geoff Edgers and Brian Murphy:

[The Permanent Secretary of the Nobel Academy, Sara] “Danius said that Dylan “embodies the tradition. And for 54 years, he’s been at it, reinventing himself, creating a new identity.” She suggested that people unfamiliar with his work start with “Blonde on Blonde,” his album from 1966.

“Bob Dylan writes poetry for the ear,” she said. “But it’s perfectly fine to read his works as poetry.”

I wish to strongly suggest the 17 video playlist, “Tangled Up in Blue,” from his 15th studio album in 1975, which is my own favorite.

With thanks to “the king,” Paul Yuhanick, you are often tough-minded, yet for the longest time were the only one who gave me any chance in life, and you taught me well.
