There may in fact be some connection, however
speculative, between the asteroid Bennu’s
close approach to earth or its hitting us
(sometime between 2175 and 2199) and the Bible
verses in Psalms 46 (and also Nehemiah 11).
Here we discuss asteroids in earth
and human history and provide you with the
King James version of Psalm 46 for your attention.
Read Psalms chapter 46 with asteroid and earthquakes
in mind, and see what you think.

Asteroids and Psalms 46: A Prophecy
An Asteroid is due to have a close encounter
with earth in 2123
(with a Prophecy from God)
The Daily Walk with Miracles, revised June 24, 2017, by Paul Evans.
Sources are Why is NASA chasing this asteroid?, CNN, September 5, 2016, by Amanda Barnett; Psalm 46 (KJV), The Official King James Online; President Obama Reads Psalm 46 at 9/11 Memorial, The White House on YouTube – 1:43; Isiah Chapter 26, The Official King James Bible online; and Isaiah 26 | Salvation’s Song, YouTube sermon, Calvary Chapel Las Vegas and YouTube. Quite a few nights ago around 5:30 a.m. when I was finally able to drift off to sleep, I found my own personal salvation and was born again, and God later that morning gave me Isiah Chapter 26 as an indication to me of my salvation. Please feel invited to create an account with IHeart radio and listen to their featured band Five Finger Death Punch with their songs, “Bad Company,” “Wrong Side of Heaven,” Avenged Sevenfold’s “Hail to the King,” and more, dedicated to the Central Intelligence Agency.
The feature image is a “fractal” called “Casteneda’s Sunrise,” after the Yaqui-Indian-trained, Ph.D. anthropologist Carlos Casteneda, who wrote the anthropologically important book, “The Teachings of Don Juan: a Yaqui Way of Knowledge,” (both Amazon.com links), which was a best seller. (Don Juan, a reclusive Yaqui Indian shaman, was Casteneda’s own main teacher.) After the success of his book, Casteneda opened a school in which he taught students his ideas and methods. You can purchase any of his writings at the first link. His life did involve a certain amount of scandal, he advocated the use of peyote, which is standard practice among the Yaqui, and he is a controversial figure. I will note that you don’t have to use drugs to get a lot from studying Casteneda. If you are interested in learning more, read more about Casteneda on Wikipedia. Personal Note from Paul Evans: I feel that while most of the “truth” is in the Bible and many secrets, it is right and proper to take knowledge where we find it. “The internet isn’t in the Bible, but the Bible is on the internet,” yet we must not fail to maintain our humanity, humility, decency and even kindness, when we can. See 1 Corinthians 13: 1-2: 1: “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing.” Some versions I have read provide the end of verse two as “how dark is that darkness.” Try to have a little kindness and love for your fellow man, when it’s at all appropriate. Watch Five Finger Death Punch’s I Apologize (10 million views in 3 months). Please do try to understand my personality: as a photo/image I carried stated, “autism is not a disease: don’t try to cure us, try to understand us.” I still get so very much wrong, and I also want to apologize for my dark humor. I describe my brand of humor as “wry, kind of whacky, somewhat existentialist,” whatever that might mean, anyway it’s NOT sarcastic.
“A warning to “philosophers” about Descarte’s cogito ergo sum (I think therefore I am): Thinking about stuff will get you words and logic, not happiness or a good life. That’s up to God. Well, God and/or the CIA.”
SUMMARY: This article is somewhat speculative but I believe it is based on sound science and logic. I have never been one who thought that the Bible and science were in any major way mutually exclusive at all. Did you know that 90 percent of astronomers believe in God? The seven days of creation in Genesis, some liberal theologians who have been exposed to the ideas of science, believe may actually correspond to geological eras. (What is a “day” to God?) The word “day” in Genesis in the original Hebrew actually means “an ‘undefined’ period of time.” In this article we examine the “impact” of asteroids in human and earth history, and look at a speculative but suggested connection with Psalm 46. I am suggesting that there may in fact be some connection, however speculative, between the asteroid Bennu’s close approach to earth or its hitting us (sometime between 2175 and 2199) and the prophetic Bible verses in Psalm 46. Scientists at this point believe the asteroid Bennu may well pass inside the orbit of earth’s moon. Might that not cause earthquakes, the same earthquakes we have been elaborately setting up with our fracking for oil?
Here we discuss asteroids in earth and human history and provide you with the King James Version of Psalm 46 for your attention. Read that Chapter in Psalms with asteroids (and earthquakes and fracking, too) in mind, and see what you think. We are lubricating the various major fault zones of the earth with our hydrofracking and hydrofluoric acid fracking and I believe this is a terrible idea. We have plenty of alternative energy technologies at our disposal, right now. As James Taylor said in one of his songs, “Now I used to think that I was cool, running around on fossil fuel, till I saw what I was doin’ was driving down the road to ruin.” I am absolutely certain that in early February of 2014, God gave me Psalm 46, particularly the last three verses, as a prophecy for mankind’s future.
Continuing: Let’s look at the phenomenon of asteroids in human history from a scientific point of view: Most asteroids, we know, come from a huge “belt” of them between Mars and Jupiter called the Van Allen Belt, which never quite (in some cosmological theory) coalesced into a planet. Periodically one of them makes what is called a “close approach” to the earth, and occasionally one of them hits us. The particular asteroid scientists are worried about now is called “Bennu.” Bennu is NOT an immediate danger but will, according to NASA, pass inside the earth’s moon’s orbit between 2175 and 2199. (I never did trust dark rocks, especially igneous rocks without quartz in them, very much.) According to my old college geology books from the 70’s and 80’s, one major theory about the end of the Mayan empire is that an asteroid hit there, and Arizona’s Meteor Crater was also caused by a meteor strike. My instructor at The Yellowstone Institute told me that the whole Yellowstone Caldera may have had its origin in an asteroid impact. Then there was the asteroid hit at the unpopulated area of Tunguska in Siberia in 1908, which knocked down trees for hundreds of square miles.
Most geologists also believe that at the end of the Cretaceous, dinosaurs and much other life on earth went extinct because of major asteroid impact. Actually, scientists now subscribe to the idea that dinosaurs were warm-blooded creatures who mainly were feathered. They also feel that the preponderance of the evidence, such as the commonality of hollow bone structure, indicates that birds are the direct descendants of dinosaurs, who have survived into modern times. The stratigraphic layers of rock from that time (by isotope dating and also the stratigraphic or “layered” position of those rocks) have an abnormally high amount of iridium in them, which only could have had its origin from certain kinds of asteroids. Maybe we should be thinking about increasing the funding for research on NASA’s study of celestial object encounters with earth (and also the money for our space program in general). I don’t usually agree with the Democrats on things that much any more, but this is one of those areas where it might be a good idea to “throw some money at it.”
One thing scientists will be studying when we send our probe to Bennu is what is called the “Yarkovsky Effect.” By simulating the sharp focus of the suns rays on the asteroid, they make an attempt to understand what will happen to Bennu’s trajectory as it approaches earth and our sun. As the sun heats the asteroid, its path is affected and if we know the exact way this Yarkovsky Effect, as it is called, affects a celestial object’s trajectory, we will know much better how close to earth the asteroid will pass or if it will hit us, as some alarmist articles around the web are claiming.
(CNN)NASA is sending a space probe to chase down a dark, potentially dangerous asteroid. The probe will take a sample of the asteroid and — in a US space first — bring the sample back to Earth.
…The spacecraft heads home in March 2021 and arrives back at Earth on September 24, 2023…
Earth has been hit by asteroids. Our planet is bombarded with more than 100 tons of dust and small particles every day and most of it comes from asteroids. Those smaller bits burn up in our atmosphere, some causing “shooting stars.”
But larger, intact asteroids also make it through. In 2013, an asteroid exploded over Russia’s Chelyabinsk region, injuring hundreds of people and shattering glass on buildings.
A space rock is believed to have entered the atmosphere over Tunguska in Siberia in 1908, knocking down trees for hundreds of square miles.
The Prophecy of Psalm 46
I do not regard myself as much of a prophet, I am just another poor human man, “working out my salvation with fear and trembling,” and I do suffer some mentally, too. But on February 5, 2014 God told me to publish Psalm 46, particularly the last three verses, as a prophecy. When God Almighty speaks, sometimes He may choose an odd soft of vehicle, and I published this on that day on the old Evans Politics. This is given as a sort of prophecy, which is growing clearer to me as I ponder it over the months and years. Here is, then, Psalm 46:
46:1 (To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
